Clean Water for Malawi: Lifesaving Initiative

Recognizing that access to clean water is a fundamental human right, our Clean Water Initiative at Selengo Primary School in Malawi has provided over 1,000 individuals with access to safe, sustainable drinking water.
Key Impact:

  • Installation of a LifePump to provide a consistent, sustainable water source
  • 30% reduction in waterborne diseases in the first year
  • 15% increase in school attendance, as children no longer need to walk long distances for water
  • Ongoing collaboration with local leaders to ensure sustainability

This initiative reflects our commitment to global health equity and sustainable development.

Global Literacy and STEM Education

  • Virtual Reading Circles: We engage children in STEM-focused and bilingual literature, reinforcing the importance of cultural diversity in education.
  • STEM Book Donations: Partnering with the Services to Youth (STY) Facet, we have donated STEM-focused books to schools in underserved communities, equipping young learners with tools for success.

This initiative fosters cross-cultural understanding and global citizenship.

International Women’s Day: Celebrating Resilience & Empowerment

Each year, we commemorate International Women’s Day by uplifting the stories of women leaders globally and locally. Due to evolving needs, we have pivoted our approach to virtual empowerment campaigns and targeted service initiatives to maximize impact.

Key Initiatives:

  • Storytelling Campaign: Showcasing inspiring women who embody resilience, leadership, and service.
  • Community Support: Partnering with local organizations to provide aid for women impacted by wildfires in Los Angeles.

Through these initiatives, we continue to honor and advocate for women worldwide.

Global Citizenship & Cultural Awareness

Our L.I.F.E. (Leadership, International Focus, and Engagement) Event introduces young leaders, including the Cotillionettes, to the importance of global awareness, travel, and cultural exchange.

Key Highlights:

  • Guest speakers sharing insights on international careers, global travel, and language learning
  • Workshops on passport applications & travel safety to encourage young leaders to embrace international opportunities
  • Wellness and work-life balance discussions, promoting travel as a means for self-care and professional development

This initiative empowers young women to become global citizens and embrace leadership on an international scale.
